Days 100 - 105

I'm still around, I think most of my readers were with me over the last several days, but in case you weren't, I've been in Houston for my brother's wedding. It was fabulous and I'll have lots to say about it in my other blog in the next day or so. Here are some happy thoughts from the last week - please note that most of them do not have to do with the 14 drive each way.

1. Flower girls.

2. Seeing lots of family members.

3. My kids' excitement about a hotel pool.

4. Remembering all the things we needed to have with us for the trip.

5. The best in-laws.

Day 92 & 93

I hate to footnote my happiness, but I have to say that the last 2 days have been clouded (literally) by a fog of pollen covering Atlanta. A pollen count over 150 is extremely high, today the count was close to 6000. Did I mention that the kids are on spring break?

1. The mall - it's pollen free and has a food court and Starbucks.

2. Getting to know my neighbors.

3. The Library - that's what my great neighbors call the area under their cherry tree.

4. A small picnic on the pollen-covered playground.

Monday, April 5, 2010
